From the outset, Forum Phi | Architecture, Interiors & Planning focused on simplicity and pragmatism. The owner sought a modern sensibility free of excess, with shared living spaces prioritised and bedrooms arranged for privacy. The relationship to the adjacent lift and surrounding mountain views became central to the concept. The experience of entering the home and seeing directly through to the landscape now defines the arrival sequence.
Responding to the steep slope, Forum Phi | Architecture, Interiors & Planning embraced a three level organisation. Bedrooms are positioned to the west, while public spaces are arranged along a central vertical core articulated by the stair. Stone spine walls running north south anchor the home visually, organise circulation and provide privacy. These solid elements contrast with porous glass facades to the north and south, establishing a deliberate tension between solidity and openness.
