Citadines Toison d’Or

Fusion Interiors Group has completed a calm, nature inspired transformation of the hotel lobby and public areas on Brussels’ prestigious Avenue de la Toison d’Or, reimagining the traditional arrival experience as a welcoming, design led hospitality environment. The project aligns closely with the Citadines brand ethos of relaxed, residential style living while responding sensitively to its urban context.

Drawing inspiration from the parks and greenery that characterise the surrounding areas of Brussels, Fusion Interiors Group developed a concept centred on calmness, light and organic rhythm. A palette of fresh greens and soft yellows runs throughout the public spaces, creating a serene and uplifting atmosphere that gently contrasts with the city outside. These tones are layered through upholstery, finishes and detailing, reinforcing a strong connection to nature while remaining clearly aligned with the Citadines brand identity.

Organic forms form the backbone of the design language. Fusion Interiors Group introduced curved arches to guide guests through the space, creating a natural sense of flow while subtly defining functional zones. These architectural gestures are balanced with clean geometric forms, resulting in interiors that feel contemporary, grounded and visually cohesive.

Light was treated as a key design driver. Mirrors are carefully positioned to enhance brightness and spatial perception, most notably in the breakfast area where a symmetrical mirrored feature wall amplifies light and adds refinement through balance and proportion. This considered use of reflection supports the overall feeling of openness and calm.
