Hamilford Design has completed a collection of contemporary living spaces that demonstrate how thoughtful planning, bespoke craftsmanship and carefully selected natural materials can create a home designed for modern family life. Created to encourage gathering, relaxation and entertaining, the project balances practicality with understated elegance while maintaining a close relationship with its rural surroundings.

The brief called for a series of living spaces where family and friends could come together naturally, whether enjoying evenings around a bespoke bar, relaxing beside the fire or watching films in a dedicated cinema room. Hamilford Design approached every room as part of a wider scheme, ensuring each space served its own purpose while contributing to a cohesive interior.

Central to the project is the extensive use of bespoke joinery. Hamilford Design created custom features including an architectural media wall with sliding slatted doors, a bespoke backlit bar, integrated storage and display shelving. Each element was designed to improve functionality while becoming an integral part of the architecture rather than freestanding furniture.

Hamilford Design believes the success of the project lies in the way every design decision contributes to the overall composition. Honest natural materials, carefully integrated joinery and considered spatial planning work together to create interiors that feel welcoming, comfortable and enduring.
