AKYACHT have been selected as a finalist for The design et al Elite Awards 2023.

M/Y Victorious is a unique combination of a robust explorer yacht and an elegant, comfortable superyacht concept. She has been designed for long-range passages in testing sea conditions.

The brief for VICTORIOUS was a platform for a self-sufficient motor yacht concept with large tenders and amazing long-range cruising capacity which refuses to neglect the finer intricate details of a sophisticated, but family orientated modern superyacht. The concept for the interior was not to design a radical, impractical, or difficult to build interior but rather a design that would be universally admired and was comfortable yet chic.

The yacht is decked in plenty of warm teaks, eucalyptus and bleached oaks alongside light leathers and silver travertine to create a beautiful neutral backdrop, upon which touches of macassar, portoro marble, black slate and other contrasting finishes are added to striking visual effect. In addition to a number of glass sculptures and bespoke chandeliers, the yacht is also punctuated with backlit onyx, woven leathers, rippled glass, beaten metals, 3D marble patterns and specialist finishes ensure every space has its own ‘special something’ that people seek on superyachts.

One of AKYACHT’s favourite aspects of this project is the Sun Deck Lounge which features a central fireplace, and a very special high-end sound system with a cigar humidor and walk-in wine cellar. The area is called Gentleman’s club. Another key aspect is the private aft-facing sunbathing area completed with an exterior dining table with a great view.

With over 1300 square metres of guest space onboard, VICTORIOUS has a wide variety of communal areas including the gentleman’s club complete with a real wood-burning fireplace, a seawater pool, helideck view observation saloon, and several bars and lounging areas. Her interiors invite guests to chill and spend quality time with friends or family in the various social areas.

VICTORIOUS is 100% a family yacht to enjoy with children and friends. From a full-size cinema to a smoking room for the adults, playroom for the kids, a stunning beach club, and spa, you name it this yacht has it!
