Dassault Aviation have been shortlisted for Interior Design / VIP Completions Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2022.

The Falcon 10X interior, is a unique collaboration between designers, engineers, and consumers, that blurs the distinction between jet and home. The interior has no equal among business jets with the largest volume, the only modular design and extensive consumer input during development.

Two themes drove the design process, “freedom” and “home.” The 10X’s superior volume and modular construction were instrumental in realizing them, making it easier to create spaces resembling a home or office — with the option to customize. But the goal was not primarily luxury. It was productivity, wellbeing and comfort — so necessary for flights of 14-16 hours.

Superior volume allows galleys, lounges, bedrooms, and lavatories to resemble 5-star kitchens, entertainment zones, hotel suites and spas. The spacious ambiance is enhanced by eliminating view-blocking fixed hardware in favour of personal connectivity devices and recessed controls. Seats, tables and lavatory are all-new creations that are functional and stylish. Abundant free space surrounds each ergonomic seat and modular tables conform to any activity. The designs insulate passengers from each other’s movements. Private staterooms and compartments are new and unique options for high-level meetings or high-end entertainment. Floor-to-ceiling, four-zone temperature control and adaptive pressure regulation enhance comfort.

There’s more natural light from more windows than any cabin in its class. Interior lighting can mimic circadian rhythms. Electro-chromatic windows grace the cinema lounge and spa-like lavatory. Textures and materials have sensory qualities that add to the home-like experience and advanced sound-dampening equals the Falcon 8X cabin, the quietest in aviation. The net effect of all this design innovation is a “penthouse in the sky” level of freedom, comfort and wellbeing that is wholly unique to the Falcon 10X.
