Majesty 175 is a new kind of yacht. Fast, efficient, modest draft, generous volume. She is a fully composite 500Gt Trans-oceanic vessel. It is the first yacht to MCA specifications over 500GT using advanced composite materials such as carbon fibre and vinyl-ester resin. In creating her, Gulf Craft hopes that this will be the beginning of a new standard, not in opposition to other construction methods but to enrich the panorama of vessels between 500 and 1200GT.

This yacht is driven by balancing aesthetics and function. Exterior and interior spaces were designed like a multi-layer plan, efficiently designed to facilitate uninterrupted traffic between guests and crew to promote the highest level of service. The great volume of the exterior lines allowed a generous layout normally seen in must larger vessels – double VIP, guest cabins on the main deck, private owner deck with 180° panoramic view in the master stateroom, double galley, panoramic gym area. The interior decor was developed almost simultaneously with the exterior lines, envisaging custom loose furniture for interior and exterior areas with the precise scope to have cohesion, integration, commixture, where any detail, material, colours and finishing selections were driven to create a similar feeling, perception of richness and wellbeing.

One of the main features is a dedicated owner’s deck. It includes a vast cabin with a 270-degree view and a forward-facing bed looking onto a 7metre infinity pool with a river flow system that can be accessed from sliding glass doors on both port and starboard. On the bridge deck, the yacht features a hybrid sky lounge with sliding glass windows, a retractable hardtop, and a reconfigurable layout, to make it a highly adaptable exterior space. Enlarged windows and increased levels of light create a modern ambience throughout the yacht and insures full interaction with the outside environment.

The key features in common demand are comfort, safety, reliability, quality, speed, long-range, low fuel consumption, care of the environment and beauty. The timeless design of the Majesty 175 complies perfectly with these, both from a naval architecture aspect, performing a low resistance hull, and design aspect, addressing the cultural specifiers of luxury allowing for access to shallower water with her shallow draft and big internal volumes. Gulf Craft studied the perfect ratio between maximum beam, resistance and transverse stability for a precise indication of the best longitudinal train to optimise the vessel’s performance. They set very strict limits to the relative positions of the centre of buoyancy and centre of gravity. Moreover, the design of this fully composite mega yacht was able to be produced completely with the inhouse facilities of the Gulf Craft Shipyard in the United Arab Emirates.
