Halffman Designs have been shortlisted for Interior Design Award (Over 40 Metres) in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2022.

M/Y Boardwalk, is a 76.5 M luxury superyacht of American design and European craftsmanship. Every detail on M/Y Boardwalk has been considered, every light placed with intention. The design is an intentional extension of light rippling across the water into the rooms and back out across the sea. She is luxury. She is comfort. She takes your breath away and feels like home.

For the interiors, Amy Halffman of Halffman Designs drew her original inspiration for the design from an Estella Fransbergen sculpture of a woman’s torso emerging from a spiral of sparkling crystals and pearls. It was gorgeous and strong; a fusion of masculine and feminine energy that inspired her to think about luxury and beauty and how they intertwine with functionality and comfort. There is complexity in opulence, there is simplicity in a comfortable chair. Together they create something beautiful like M/Y Boardwalk which has one of Estella’s sculptures on board.

Stepping aboard M/Y Boardwalk, a guest is transported into a world of elegance, opulence and comfort. Classic designs are enhanced with eye-catching details that delight and entice a guest to enter a space, to absorb the beauty of their surroundings and immerse themselves in the experience of being at sea. Wool and silk custom carpets feature throughout, and luxury wall coverings in soft white creams and grey shimmer, catching the light like waves outside the porthole. The rooms glimmer by design. Each lighting fixture placed with purpose, interior and exterior lights illuminate and connect with the design of the hull, the curve of the staircase, the glint of crystal pulls, the sparkle of moonlight stretching across the water. Almost everything on board is custom, from the furniture to the lighting fixtures and design, to the art that adorns the walls or the commissioned Estella Fransbergen sculpture glittering at the base of the grand staircase. M/Y Boardwalk is extraordinary.
