Karen Lynn Interior Design has been shortlisted for the Interior Design Award (Over 40 Metres) Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2023.

As an extensive refit that elevates a beautiful design, MY All In has been customised and refurbished to become functional yet practical, elegant, and ready for use. The team at Karen Lynn Interior Design worked hard through a number of challenges to fulfil the client’s vision, refurbishing the interiors for a more modern feel with all-new stone, wallcovering, draperies, fittings, lighting, carpets, decor and more.

Using a modern, light palette kept the core of the interiors inviting and appealing to most guests and owners, yet the contemporary feel of the art and styling elevates the design to a level of comfortable sophistication. It has been designed to increase the opportunities for charter and resale, with the goal to increase the overall value of the vessel. Functionality was considered in the finishes, colours, and textiles to allow for heavy use and traffic, whilst ensuring that there is no compromise on the elegance of the design.

The owner challenged the team with a 4.5-month time scale to transform the yacht which included a layout change to add a new cabin and head. Due to the work being throughout the COVID pandemic, the designers also faced sourcing challenges, meaning that all interior furnishings have been replaced with custom options. Though the bespoke nature of the interiors solved the material restrictions, it also allowed the designers to involve several local artisans and ensure that the yacht was truly unique.
