Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. were the winners of the Private Jet Design Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2022.

The first fully outfitted Gulfstream G700 features the most spacious cabin in the business-aircraft industry and the elegant interior design is reflective of the signature Gulfstream Cabin Experience that fosters health, wellness and passenger rejuvenation over the globe-spanning flights the G700 can achieve. The Gulfstream Cabin Experience on the G700 features the lowest cabin altitude in the industry, regularly replenished 100% fresh air purified by Gulfstream’s plasma ionization system, whisper-quiet noise levels and Gulfstream’s panoramic oval windows.

The serene interior is designed in Gulfstream’s minimalist aesthetic and is achieved through a tonal palette of light, creamy neutrals and warm greys across a play of geometric patterns interspersed with touches of warm cinnamon and charcoal for accent and definition. The veneer in the cabin is a composite Grey Oak, a warm grey wood with consistent grain texture, and the countertops are outfitted in a creamy neutral quartz with seeping dove grey and cinnamon vein accents.

The carpet features intersecting circular patterns of burnt sienna and charcoal that are overlayed with subtle horizontal lines that soften the geometric shapes throughout the cabin. Passengers can work, relax and rest over distinct living areas and these are further defined by the Gulfstream interior design team by varying the pattern scaling to accentuate each space uniquely.

The International Yacht & Aviation Award-winning G700 seats include horizontal linear quilted inserts with a double-stitch detail that ties back into the carpet texture. Accents of warm veneer, soft wool fabric and mini-welts layer aspects of the cabin materials into the seats, creating more subtle variations throughout the cabin.

The interior design is further refined through the nickel dark aged plating on the seat controls, drawer pulls and other hardware that creates a textural metal accent in harmony with the neighbouring cabin materials.
