KA DesignWorks has completed the Starwood Residence, a contemporary mountain estate in Aspen that combines expansive alpine views, resort style amenities and seamless indoor outdoor living within a carefully considered architectural framework.

Set across 6.5 acres with panoramic views of the Elk Mountain Range, the residence was designed to celebrate its extraordinary setting while providing a warm, private and highly liveable home. KA DesignWorks approached the project with a restrained architectural language, using long horizontal forms, natural materials and carefully proportioned glazing to anchor the residence within the landscape rather than compete with it.

KA DesignWorks also integrated an extensive range of amenities to support both everyday living and hospitality. Wellness facilities, including a spa and fitness area, sit alongside a theatre, wine room and outdoor entertaining spaces, while the private primary suite enjoys a secluded terrace and uninterrupted mountain views.

Throughout the project, KA DesignWorks focused on creating a timeless residence that balances luxury with functionality. Public and private spaces flow naturally together without compromising comfort or privacy, and the carefully restrained palette ensures the surrounding landscape remains the defining feature of the home.
