Kate Nixon has unveiled an exquisite transformation of a grand family residence, seamlessly blending classical elegance with contemporary functionality. The renovation respects the original architecture by Michael Suttor while creating a refined yet practical home designed for multi-generational living.

The ground floor has been thoughtfully refreshed with custom joinery, elegant window treatments, and sophisticated yet comfortable furniture that harmonizes with the home’s existing antiques and heirlooms. Upstairs, the bedrooms have been updated with a particular highlight being the conversion of one room into an expansive, dual-access master robe featuring floor-to-ceiling walnut cabinetry, custom brass handles, carved marble, and woven grasscloth inlays.

The pool area was redesigned with generous paddling platforms for the client’s grandchildren and a centrally heated spa, ensuring both practicality and luxury. Throughout the home, Kate Nixon applied an earthy palette of timber, marble, and limestone, complemented by weathered brass and contemporary lighting.
