Katrin Mood Design undertook the transformation of a 115-square-meter apartment situated in a pre-war building in central Budapest. The objective was to create a space that exudes a dreamy, romantic ambiance with subtle vacation-like undertones while seamlessly integrating historical elements with contemporary design.
The client, Danica, envisioned a home that was both charming and stylish yet highly functional and comfortable. A significant challenge was the apartment’s layout, particularly the placement of the kitchen, which was located immediately to the left of the entrance and at a considerable distance from the living room.
