In the heart of London, Krantz Designs has unveiled its latest masterpiece: the Savoy Project. This ambitious endeavour aimed to transform a conventional double garage into a luxurious entertainment space, reminiscent of a sophisticated London cocktail bar.

The design brief was clear: create a visually stunning space with a practical layout, incorporating showstopping feats of engineering and club/bar features. Krantz Designs rose to the challenge, infusing the Savoy Project with elegance and fun quirks tailored specifically for hosting memorable gatherings.

A key objective was to include a range of custom elements, such as a pop-up gin bar embedded into the central island, personalized engravings, and features geared towards the client’s preferences. The space needed to be versatile, allowing for nightclub-esque dance parties or elegant after-work cocktails, with alternate audio and lighting settings to set the mood.

Functionality was paramount, with the bar area fully stocked and equipped for crafting a wide array of drinks. Clever storage solutions ensured that the space remained clutter-free even during busy gatherings.

The Savoy Project’s intricate bespoke details and engravings added a personalized touch, with quotes selected by the client engraved into cabinetry and metal detailing on the floor. A rich turquoise and mahogany colour palette contrasted against brushed brass accents, while layered textures added depth.

One of the project’s highlights was the pop-up gin bar, a feat of engineering that delighted guests with its dynamic and interactive surprise. Acoustic considerations and mood lighting played a crucial role, ensuring that every feature worked in harmony to fulfil the client’s vision.

From concealed champagne buckets to voile-covered sliding doors leading to the swimming pool, the Savoy Project was designed to impress at every turn.
