Kulcsár Architect Studio Ltd. developed a design vision for VIBE Budapest, a Latin American and Asian-inspired club and restaurant. Situated near Lánchíd, this 400-square-meter venue with a 200-square-meter show kitchen offers a dynamic dining and nightlife experience.

Previously a nightclub and eatery, the space underwent extensive upgrades, including new mechanical, electrical, and fire safety systems, alongside advanced sound, stage, and lighting technology. Kulcsár Architect Studio Ltd. integrated additional office spaces and reimagined the venue’s layout to transition seamlessly from a casual dining and business lunch destination by day to a vibrant club by night.

The studio’s design embraces contemporary elegance while maintaining a connection to the panoramic views of the Danube and Castle Hill. A lush, jungle-like arrangement of plants provides privacy while preserving an open atmosphere. The interior features custom Peruvian Shipibo-inspired ceramic tiles and striking tree-like columns that shift in light and colour throughout the day.

Artistry and functionality blend throughout, with flower boxes, a small stage for live performances, and pixel-controlled LED lighting elements that synchronise with music. Warm, subtle white lighting dominates by day, while dynamic accent lighting transforms the ambiance at night. Even the restrooms reflect the overall aesthetic, ensuring consistency in design.

Through their innovative approach, Kulcsár Architect Studio Ltd. crafted a space that adapts fluidly to different times and events, enhancing the unique operational vision of VIBE Budapest.
