LEIVARS Interiors Studio

LEIVARS Interiors Studio has brought a burst of energy, texture, and pattern to the House of Colour, creating a vibrant and dynamic living space for a young family. The studio worked closely with the family, who expressed a deep appreciation for colour and patterns, resulting in an explosion of joy in every room.

The colour palette chosen revolves around blue and green hues, varying in tones and complemented by the warmth of brass, ochre, rust, and cognac hues. LEIVARS approached the project as a full renovation and interior design endeavour. However, the team encountered unexpected structural challenges inherited from the previous owners, transforming the project into both a structural and regenerative undertaking spanning two years.

During the extensive renovation, the team stripped the building back to its brickwork, discovering severe structural issues that required reinforcing multiple rooms with new steels. Despite the unexpected hurdles, efforts were made to save and restore original features, with meticulous attention to detail. The result was a labour of love, a renewed space that not only adhered to modern efficiency and compliance standards but also reinstated the building’s character.

The Master Suite stands out as a favourite area. The space was originally one large room but was reimagined to include separate walk-in Dressing Rooms and an en-suite shower room. Despite the vibrant colour scheme, the tones and textures used in the Master Suite create a boutique-like haven, offering a relaxing escape for the clients from their demanding professions.

Throughout the House of Colour, LEIVARS used a combination of textures and tones that harmonise beautifully with the London skyline. Striking feature wallpapers play a crucial role in bringing the scheme together, while the use of velvet, silk, and satin, along with fringe detailing, adds layers of elegance to the overall design. The project is a testament to the clients’ trust and bravery in embracing colour at every turn, resulting in a space that reflects the vibrancy and joy of the young family who now call it home.
