LLI Design has reimagined a dated 1980s detached family home in Highgate, North London, into a refined, family-focused sanctuary that blends quiet luxury with contemporary functionality. Located in a woodland conservation area near Hampstead Heath, the property’s external alterations were limited due to planning restrictions, but the interior was entirely transformed to create a cohesive, modern living space.
Collaborating with Corstorphine & Wright Architects, LLI Design focused on redefining the internal layout to enhance flow and functionality across the four-story home. By curating a harmonious palette of natural materials—including timber, polished concrete, dark wood veneers, and textured fabrics—LLI Design introduced a calm, unpretentious aesthetic that feels warm and inviting.
