In the realm of superyacht design, Massari Design has left an indelible mark with its intervention in the interiors of the 77.7m/245’11” MY Malia (formerly O’ Rea). Launched in the summer of 2023 by the esteemed Greek shipyard Golden Yachts, this luxurious vessel boasts a meticulously crafted interior, showcasing the innovative prowess of Massari Design.

Taking charge of the main public spaces, including the Main Salon, Upper Salon, and interconnected lobbies via a scenographic stairwell, Massari Design brings to life a distinctive and contemporary European style. Characterized by elegance and refinement, the colour palette is thoughtfully composed of varying shades of white, tobacco, and dark brown.

The layout is a testament to Massari Design’s commitment to providing an unparalleled onboard experience, prioritizing circulation and ergonomics. Every piece of loose furniture, when necessary, has been custom-designed, adding a bespoke touch to the interiors. Notably, the side ceilings of the main and upper salon, designed with single slats in a regular pitch, create an undulating, three-dimensional effect, reminiscent of a sea breeze through wide windows.

Lighting assumes an artistic role with two bespoke handmade chandeliers, adding a touch of luxury to the already refined space. Ascending the staircase that connects various decks, guests are treated to an array of refined details and precious materials, including marble steps with inlay metal, hand-decorated vertical panels, and a vertical chandelier with champagne-coloured metal structure and three-dimensional glass elements.

The atrium of the Main Deck hosts an artistic creation specially designed to interact seamlessly with the space—a handmade metal globe with stylized continents. Crafted from polished metal finishes, it enhances the three-dimensional perception and refinement of the space, embodying the dedication and skill that Massari Design brings to every project. A stimulating and challenging endeavour, MY Malia stands ready to welcome future customers with open arms, showcasing the fusion of artistry and functionality in superyacht design.
