Mengi Yay Yachts has launched NB 111 Cabana, a custom built steel explorer yacht that blends modern serenity with robust engineering, refined design, and true long-range cruising capability. Developed on a 35 metre platform, the project was driven by the ambition to deliver the spatial generosity and onboard comfort typically associated with much larger yachts, while maintaining balanced proportions and efficient naval architecture.

From the outset, Mengi Yay Yachts focused on achieving a carefully judged equilibrium between interior volume, exterior living areas, and technical spaces. This holistic approach ensures that no single function dominates, resulting in a harmonious onboard experience equally suited to extended cruising, relaxed social gatherings, and private retreat. The yacht’s layout and circulation have been meticulously planned to maximise usability, allowing all areas to operate with clarity and efficiency.

Outdoor living is central to the concept. NB 111 Cabana features a generous beach club with an unfolding transom, creating a direct and immersive connection with the sea. Across three decks, expansive exterior areas are thoughtfully arranged to offer a mix of social and intimate settings. The hardtop sundeck acts as the main communal hub, incorporating fixed sunpads, a U-shaped al fresco dining area, and a discreet dry bar designed for seamless use from day through to evening.

Interior and exterior spaces are conceived as a continuous flow rather than separate zones. Visual openness, abundant natural light, and clear sightlines enhance the sense of calm throughout the yacht, reinforcing a design language defined by functionality, understated elegance, and modern serenity. This strong indoor–outdoor continuity maintains a constant dialogue with the surrounding seascape, keeping guests connected to the horizon at all times.
