Provence Mountainside Villa

The clients’ brief included designing a salon with bi-folding doors for flexible living and a drinks bar integrating patinated brass, hand-antiqued mirrors, and clear glass shelves, creating an opulent yet warm statement piece. For the study, Nathan Kingsbury Design crafted full-scale, French-style bookcases in painted oak, incorporating traditional methods to highlight the timber’s natural beauty.

The bedroom suite embraced a romantic art deco style, incorporating cut glass bedside tables and custom hardware. The cabinetry featured verre églomisé mirrors, adding depth and light.

Nathan Kingsbury Design’s approach blended luxury with subtle elegance, inspired by the clients’ curated art and furniture, ensuring each room had its own voice while collectively connecting to the Provencal house and its landscape. The salon’s mirrored glass and high gloss finish make the glass objects sparkle and bounce light and exterior views around the room.
