A sculptural bas relief, created by a commissioned artist, animates the double height staircase wall with a soft, fluid form, turning circulation into an immersive feature. Enlarged upper level window openings draw in natural light, while eighteen pearl effect Bocci pendants introduce a warm, ethereal glow. Completed in just three months, the project delivered a luminous, cohesive home that fosters comfort, connection, and lasting togetherness.
NEDA ZIAD ARCHITECTS reimagined a 40 year old villa, transforming a quiet, ageing home into a bright, timeless sanctuary for renewed family life. Commissioned by the owners’ son as a surprise for his parents, the project was driven by a clear vision to create a lighter, more connected living environment where the whole family could gather again. The practice honoured the home’s layered history while introducing a warm, contemporary character suited to modern living.
