Nicholas Anthony

Nicholas Anthony has once again showcased its prowess in kitchen design with a project that defies convention and redefines the concept of a traditional kitchen. Drawing inspiration from nature and executed with impeccable precision, the project exemplifies innovation, creativity, and adaptability.

At the core of the project was the client’s desire for a kitchen that exuded darkness and mystery, challenging the norms of traditional kitchen design. To achieve this, Nicholas Anthony introduced black oak melamine cabinetry balanced with vintage-tone mahogany flooring and accentuated with metallic SieMatic doors.

The open-plan design fostered a spacious atmosphere, promoting freedom and openness within the kitchen space. Strategically placed roof lights allowed natural light to cascade into the room, creating intriguing shadows that danced across the surfaces and fostering an intimate atmosphere.

Innovative solutions emerged to address design constraints, such as the angled wall, leading to the introduction of display units for a symmetrical and balanced aesthetic. Brushed bronze doors made a bold statement with their distinctive colour and finish, further accentuating the darkness of the cabinetry and worktop.

Natural materials played a pivotal role in the design, adding warmth and authenticity to the space. Vintage-inspired flooring and acoustic panelling adorned with stained oak harmonized the overall atmosphere, bringing the beauty of the surrounding environment into the kitchen space.

As the project neared completion, what had once been an uncertain vision transformed into a captivating reality. The dark and moody kitchen, illuminated by soft roof lights, stood as a testament to collaboration, creativity, and adaptability, defying convention and setting a new standard in kitchen design.

The standout feature of the project was undoubtedly the brushed bronze cabinetry doors, a unique material that elegantly brought together darkness and sophistication, creating a captivating focal point that influenced the entire house’s design aesthetic. Nicholas Anthony’s meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful integration of design elements have resulted in a cutting-edge kitchen design that is both captivating and timeless.
