Perched in the Hollywood Hills, 8741 W St. Ives Dr. is a bold expression of contemporary design, where architectural precision meets natural materials to create a deeply immersive and liveable home. This multi-level residence opens up to sweeping city views through expansive floor-to-ceiling glass, all while maintaining a sense of warmth and intimacy through a thoughtfully curated palette of stone, wood, and brushed metals.

The journey to bring this vision to life was anything but straightforward. From the start, the permitting process was extensive and time-consuming. Midway through, the global pandemic introduced unforeseen delays, reshaping timelines and logistics. Despite the hurdles, the team leaned into the evolving nature of the project—integrating design decisions and custom elements in real time as construction progressed.

The primary suite occupies its own private wing on the upper floor – a serene escape above the city. Designed with refined minimalism in mind, it features a custom headboard wall and inset lighting that creates a soft, floating effect. The spa-inspired en-suite bath showcased bookmatched stone, an oversized soaking tub, and a walk-in rain shower enclosed in fluted glass—offering both privacy and ethereal glow.
Throughout the home, custom furnishings by B&B Italia, Poliform, and Fendi Casa reinforce a quiet sense of luxury. A fully integrated Crestron smart home system ties everything together, making day-to-day living seamless and intuitive.
