Within the bedrooms, original period furniture was carefully reworked rather than replaced. Proportions were adjusted to meet present day needs, with chests of drawers repurposed as bedside tables and armchairs given greater volume. The colour palette draws directly from the 1960s, combining beige, grey, tobacco and white with subtle accents of ochre, brick and duck blue. Blond wood was favoured throughout, with oak used for headboards and varnished oak for desks and pedestal tables.
In the corridors, the same approach continues, featuring a vintage wall lamp model repeated for a theatrical effect, walls clad in a textile reminiscent of Japanese straw, and carpets with abstract patterns inspired by traditional Portuguese calçada paving.
