This project was a dream for any designer, as it presented a host of essential touch points for the clients. The kitchen needed to be a space for family cooking, a chef’s domain for preparations, and a hub for entertaining family and friends. However, the key challenge was to create a design that harmonized with the existing architectural brilliance of the property.

The property, located in North London, featured opulent brass leaf painted portals to the sky, a design element that needed to be mirrored within the kitchen to maintain synergy with the masterpieces of architecture. The design achieved this seamlessly, ensuring that the kitchen and the bespoke bar commissioned for the client sat perfectly in harmony with the existing grandeur of the family home.

The bar area beautifully echoed the theme of the kitchen but in a reverse format, cleverly incorporating brass elements that complemented the overall design. The spatial flow effortlessly connects the kitchen and bar areas, culminating in a captivating view, especially from the kitchen, where the ceiling island and bar in the adjacent room come together in perfect harmony.
