Tell us a little about the company background:
Comlux is one of the leaders in private aviation industry focusing on 3 main domains of the business: transactions (aircraft sales and acquisition), aviation (VIP charter and aircraft management), and completions (cabin completions, upgrades and maintenance services).
The name “Comlux” is an abbreviation of 2 words, comfort and luxury, that well defines our core objectives – providing the best services with the highest comfort within the aviation part of Comlux business, and building luxury aircraft cabins within the completion business.

How does your company approach each project from concept to completion?
Each project is unique. We listen to the client to learn their requirements and wishes and we then make them happen.

Where inspires your company in this sector?
We design cabins and tailor our services for particular clients. The clients and their needs and wishes are our inspiration.

In what direction do you feel that your projects are moving towards in a general sense?
We focus on innovations, safety, and highest quality for money to ensure the asset value is preserved.

If your company could offer one piece of advice when it comes to projects, what would it be?
Don’t rush. In order to move forward fast, you have to spend more time thinking in terms of cabin definition. If sufficient time is dedicated to planning and defining the cabin, one can then expect on-time delivery.

How important are The International Yacht & Aviation Awards?
We are proud to have been shortlisted in Interior Design / VIP Completions category as this is an excellent opportunity for us to show to the world that sky is the limit at Comlux. You can dream it, we can do it!

What projects are you currently working on?
We’re a partner of Airbus and exclusive completion center for the first 17 ACJ TwoTwenty cabins. This aircraft creates a whole new category on private jet market, offers unbeatable value for money, and we strongly believe in its future. We are currently working on several ACJ TwoTwenty cabins simultaneously.

What was one of your company’s key projects to work on and why?
Definitely the ACJ TwoTwenty aircraft as it truly is a best value for money business jet.

What was your company’s most challenging project to work on and why?
The most challenging projects are the ones where the clients is only interested in price discount while we know that quality will cost more.

Which products/services could you not live without when completing projects? E.g. Lighting companies, furniture companies
None. We manufacture a lot of parts and monuments in house and are able to adjust our production / operations to the current needs. Often times luxury brands propose materials that wouldn’t pass cabin certification due to for example failed flammability tests.

What are your company’s aims and goals for the next twelve months?
To deliver what we promised to our clients and to continue to deliver quality products and services.
