Tell us a little about your background in design:
Growing up in Australia, I was surrounded by family members working in the construction industry. From a very young age, I enjoyed designing each room of the house as my family moved around in search of the perfect family home to build and enjoy. I was incredibly fortunate to have an insight into what it was like to work in this industry long before I began my career, as I grew up surrounded by it. With my eyes wide open, I pursued my lifelong passion for interior design in my later years and entered of high-end resi.

With a background in advertising and over 20 years as a design director, I bring a strong sense of storytelling and brand experience to every interior.

Studied at CATC in Australia completing degree in Interiors and Graphic Design

How would you describe your personal design style?:
Blending modern aesthetics with timeless global influences and designing spaces that are both functional and emotionally resonant.

Where does your design inspiration come from?:
It comes from many sources. Travels, hotels, restaurants I’ve visited, history, textures in nature, visual research, to even the practice of understanding your senses like sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Creating environments where people feel connected, comfortable, and inspired.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?:
Design is increasingly shifting toward a more conscious and individualised approach, driven by the growing availability of sustainable materials and artisan craftsmanship. With more options than ever, we can create truly unique, meaningful spaces. This evolution reflects a broader move away from mass production toward design that prioritises sustainability, individuality, and intention.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in the future.:
Sustainability – Prioritising low-impact materials, energy efficiency, and circular design to create spaces that are environmentally responsible and enduring.

Personalisation – Designing with greater sensitivity to individual lifestyles, cultural narratives, and emotional connection to create meaningful, one-of-a-kind environments.

Craftsmanship & Localism – Embracing artisanal techniques and supporting local makers to foster authenticity, quality, and community resilience.

Wellbeing – Integrating biophilic design, natural materials, and healthy finishes to enhance physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing within spaces.

Adaptability – Creating flexible, future-proof spaces that can evolve with changing needs, technologies, and ways of living.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to designing, what would it be?:
Design from the inside out. When you fill your home with elements that feel good, do good, and are good for you – from sustainable materials to intentional layouts – your space will naturally support your wellbeing and reflect who you truly are.

How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?:
They celebrate the best in global design while championing creativity, integrity, and innovation and we are truly honoured to be shortlisted.

What projects are you currently working on?:
We currently have a handful of residential various sizes and locations, along with a few select international commercial projects.

What was your favourite project to work on and why?:
Our Olánduō project client had incredible taste and worked closely with us throughout, making the process a true collaboration. The home blends rare art and antiques with contemporary design, centred around a sculptural kitchen island and rich with personal touches – from a memorial plaque, to spaces for pets and design for disability. Every detail was intentional, creating a timeless, meaningful sanctuary.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?:
One of our most challenging projects was designing a terrace home for a client with a disability. The constraints of a traditional London terrace – from narrow staircases to limited access points – made every design decision critical. It pushed us to think more creatively and intentionally, ensuring the space was both functional and beautiful without compromise.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing?:
Lighting is the one element we couldn’t live without – it’s what gives a space its feeling. It sets the mood, brings warmth, and creates atmosphere in a way no other element can. Alongside this, we rely on artisans and bespoke makers whose work adds soul and subtlety. Together, these details shape how a space feels, not just how it looks.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
Over the next twelve months, our focus is on expanding internationally, taking on more projects abroad and bringing our design philosophy to new contexts. We’re excited to collaborate with global artisans, explore new materials, and create work that’s both culturally responsive and deeply personal.
