Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)

With a trained eye cultivated through roots in the study of fine arts and work experience in the fashion industry, Natalie has developed an intuitive rhythm for creating harmony through visual textures and an exploration of pallets and proportions. Art has always been a major focus in my journey and sourcing investment art is integral to my business.

How would you describe your personal design style?

A dance between contemporary design and classical influence expressed through sensual surfaces, tactile interest and dynamic contradiction.

Where does your design inspiration come from?

Selecting art is often my first point of inspiration for a design scheme as it offers a window to your client’s personality and in doing so weaves the thread that runs through a harmonious tailored interior.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

I feel that the balance and quality of natural elements in our homes to create harmony is more of a priority than ever before.

Sustainability is key, in the form of innovative materials but moreso through venerated treasured pieces and valuing the sustainability of quality. Biophilic design will only gain momentum

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2023 and beyond.

The rich multicultural presence in design and instant inspiration allows for constantly evolving themes and the collision of different aesthetics, that can be incorporated if the project allows for it.
