Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)

Despite having earned my degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Communication in Business and Management, I have always felt a deep, passionate connection to the world of interior design. The art of creating beautiful and functional spaces has captivated me for as long as I can remember. At 25, I took a bold leap of faith and decided to follow my true passion by pursuing a degree in interior design. This exciting journey has allowed me to merge my business skills with my love for aesthetics, and I am eager to bring my unique perspective to the world of interiors.

How would you describe your personal design style?

Our design approach is closely aligned with a luxury contemporary style. We meticulously incorporate natural wood, Alcantara fabric, marble, dark mirrors, brass accents, and silk to create sophisticated and inviting interiors. Each material is purposefully chosen to evoke a sense of elegance and comfort, resulting in spaces that are both timeless and modern.

Where does your design inspiration come from?

Our design inspiration often stems from a blend of intuition and visual experiences. Personally, I find inspiration in my travels and the deep conversations I share with loved ones. These moments enrich my perspective and influence my creative process.

What was your favourite project to work on and why?

My favorite project is the one I developed for my best friend in Dubai, as I dedicated significant effort and creativity to its success, truly investing a piece of my heart into it.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?

The challenging projects we undertook in 2021 involved three villas in Dubai, each spanning 800 m². At the time, we were unfamiliar with the market, which made it a significant challenge to design and realize these projects successfully.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing?

I cannot envision our design without lighting, as it truly enhances the overall aesthetic.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

I see interior design moving towards creating spaces that feel both personal and conscious. People are embracing sustainable materials and eco-friendly practices to reflect their care for the planet. Smart tech is making life more convenient, and there’s a big desire to customize spaces to reflect individual stories and lifestyles.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2024 and beyond.

1. Sustainability: Designing with care for the planet, using materials and methods that respect our environment.

2. Smart Living: Incorporating the latest technology to make spaces more convenient and efficient.

3. Versatility: Making spaces that easily adapt to our changing lives, whether it’s working from home or accommodating a growing family.

4. Well-being: Focusing on designs that promote health and happiness.

5. Inclusivity: Creating designs that celebrate and accommodate diversity, making everyone feel welcome and at ease in their spaces.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?

Following your heart —let your passion and creativity guide your designs. When you infuse your personal style and values into your work, it can lead to more authentic and impactful designs.

What projects are you currently working on?

We are currently working with three beautiful projects located in Latvia and Dubai.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

My goal for the next 12 months is to become a better version of myself. I strive to embrace new challenges, cultivate personal growth, and prioritize self-improvement in all aspects of my life.

Final thoughts; tell us a little more about yourself and your daily inspirations:

Your most treasured possession?

My most treasured possessions are those that represent my connections with family and friends. I have a photo album filled with memories from family gatherings that brings me joy and warmth. Additionally, a heartfelt letter from a family member and friends serves as a constant reminder of their love and support. These possessions embody the relationships and experiences that truly shape my life.

Your favourite holiday destination?

One of my favorite holiday destinations is France, a country that I adore for its beautiful cities and rich culture. I particularly love Paris, with its iconic landmarks and vibrant atmosphere. After Paris, Biarritz captivates me with its stunning coastline and laid-back charm. Lastly, the Côte d’Azur is simply unforgettable, offering picturesque views, luxurious beaches, and a taste of the Mediterranean lifestyle. Each city in France has its own unique allure, making every visit a delightful experience.
