Tell us a little about your background in design:
Reem Suleiman, a Jordanian architect born in Jeddah in 1988,Currently lives in UAE, holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture (2011). A dedicated wife and mother of two, Reem turned her passion for interior design into a thriving business in 2018.

How would you describe your personal design style?
Reem Suleiman Design Studio is known for crafting contemporary classic interiors tailored to reflect each client’s unique style. The
studio combines architectural expertise with bespoke design solutions, ensuring elegance, functionality, and premium quality

Where does your design inspiration come from?
Our design inspiration comes from architecture, natural materials, subtle textures and timeless details. traveling, cultural diversity, and observing how light, proportion, and balance interact within the space continuously influence my creative process. deeply inspired by understanding my clients needs and daily rituals, and translating them into spaces that feel personal and meaningful.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?:
Design is moving towards a more conscious, human-centered, and meaningful approach. There is a growing emphasis on sustainability, longevity, and thoughtful craftsmanship rather than fast trends.
Spaces are increasingly expected to support well-being, emotional comfort, and flexibility, while still maintaining aesthetic integrity. I believe the future of design lies in balance between beauty and function, tradition and innovation, and individuality and responsibility.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to designing, what would it be?
Design with intention. Take the time to truly understand the people who will inhabit the space their lifestyle, emotions, and needs. When a design is rooted in purpose rather than trends, it naturally becomes timeless, functional, and meaningful.

The International Design & Architecture Awards play a vital role in recognizing thoughtful, high-quality design on a global platform. They celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation while encouraging designers to push boundaries with integrity and purpose. Being part of such an award reinforces the value of meaningful design and elevates the conversation within the industry.

What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on a selection of residential interior projects in UAE almost 8 projects. Each project focuses on creating refined, functional spaces that reflect the client’s individuality while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.

Your most treasured possession?

My Daughters and family.

Your favourite holiday destination?

Destinations rich in culture and history, where architecture, craftsmanship, and a slower pace of life offer inspiration and perspective. Lake Como one of the best.
