Reid Williams Design recently completed a captivating interior design project for international clients relocating from America to London. The clients desired a clean, minimalist interior that exuded warmth and comfort, aiming to recreate the ambiance of their beautiful Hamptons home while incorporating a contemporary twist in their new apartment.

The design team at Reid Williams Design expertly crafted distinct zones within the open living and dining area, introducing a charming library nook featuring a stunning curved sofa and separating a cozy office space with a Crittall screen. This innovative approach maintained the open feel of the space without using solid walls, providing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Key aspects of the design include the softness brought by the curved furniture, which contrasts beautifully with the angular lines of the space. The bespoke joinery features exquisite inlay metal detailing, Carrara marble tops, and fluted wood fronts, complemented by discreet lighting that enhances the overall ambiance. Additionally, the floor was sanded down and restained to a more natural finish, brightening up the room and contributing to the clean, minimalist aesthetic.
