Arte Surfside Penthouse

The Artes Surfside Penthouse, realized by the design firm Rita Chraibi, exemplifies refined oceanfront living through a seamless blend of bespoke craftsmanship, sculptural design, and contemporary coastal elegance. Conceived as a full transformation of a 7,000-square-foot Miami residence, the project redefines contemporary coastal luxury through precision, restraint, and a considered design approach that responds directly to its seaside context while maintaining a strong architectural identity.

The interior balances French contemporary refinement with the lightness and openness characteristic of Miami’s coastal environment. Spatial clarity, natural illumination, and carefully framed ocean views guided the layout, allowing the penthouse to feel expansive yet composed, maintaining intimacy within its generous proportions.

At the heart of the residence, a sculptural backlit onyx bar serves as an architectural focal point, anchoring the main living area, while a custom crystal chandelier by Sans Souci Lighting cascades through the staircase, acting as both a vertical connector and a luminous sculptural element. These interventions establish a striking visual identity without compromising the serenity of the space.
