SHH Architecture & Interiors has completed a state-of-the-art private Music Pavilion, designed to deliver an exceptional listening experience and fulfil the aspirations of a true audiophile. The result of a close collaboration, the project exemplifies the seamless fusion of architectural innovation and superior acoustic performance.
Set beside an existing greenhouse, the 150 sqm pavilion is a contemporary reimagining of traditional geometry, integrating effortlessly with the existing property. SHH achieved this through careful consideration of materiality and scale. The use of Japanese charred timber and Corten steel brings richness and warmth, contrasting beautifully with expansive glazed openings. A living wall and green roof foster biodiversity while anchoring the structure in its natural surroundings.
