The five-star DoubleTree by Hilton Azores Hotel, designed and built from scratch, spans four floors and encompasses 101 rooms. As the first Hilton chain hotel in the Azores archipelago, Portugal, it is situated on the main island of São Miguel. This significant project involved a total investment of 25 million euros.

The hotel emphasizes natural light through expansive glass windows, fostering a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Guests can enjoy direct access to various terraces, furnished with lounge furniture and offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and São Miguel’s rich biodiversity.

Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed by a striking ceiling installation in metal mesh at the lobby entrance, reminiscent of fishing nets.

The first level houses a Wellness Centre, featuring an indoor pool, treatment rooms, a gym, a lifestyle studio, three meeting and event rooms with a maximum capacity of 150 people, a business centre, and indoor and outdoor lounge areas overlooking the surrounding landscape. The fourth floor boasts a rooftop bar and outdoor dining area, protected by a bioclimatic pergola, alongside a large terrace with a solarium and lounge area, and a pool for both adults and children. The rooftop view is a defining feature of this Hilton hotel.
