Studio K Creative drew inspiration from the rich Pan-Asian cultures to curate a space filled with artifacts that narrate a story both globally and personally. Set in the vibrant River North location, the design embodies the area’s alluring and sultry vibes. The restaurant features warm neutrals and rich textures, creating an inviting yet intriguing atmosphere.

This inward-focused restaurant, with its clean lines and dramatic bamboo veil, epitomizes the next generation of dining. It embraces the grit of the West Loop while celebrating the dramatic flair for which Sunda has become renowned. The design succeeds because it reflects a variety of flavors and tells a deeply personal story.

One of the main focal points is the Capiz shells above the bar, which hold special significance. These shells, originating from the Philippines, honor the heritage of Billy’s family, adding a personal touch to the space.
Studio K Creative meticulously crafted the walls, creating layers by mixing and matching colors, textures, and patterns. This approach avoids being overly serious while ensuring a dynamic and engaging environment.
