At the heart of this project is Leydi, a modern Turkish restaurant inspired by the rich architectural and cultural layers of Istanbul. With its own street entrance and separate character, Leydi was envisioned by Studio Moren as a standalone dining destination that remains spiritually connected to the hotel. The interior features a series of triple timber arches that add rhythm and intimacy to the space, while pendant lighting and lush planting contribute to a warm and inviting atmosphere.
In response to Ennismore’s brief to create a restaurant that fosters connection and celebrates the energy of food, Studio Moren placed the open kitchen at the centre of the dining room. This design decision dissolves the traditional boundaries between chefs and diners, transforming the act of cooking into a vibrant and integral part of the guest experience.
