StudioTwenty has completed a full luxury renovation and extension of an 8000 square foot early 2000s home, transforming it into a contemporary residence defined by open-plan living, premium finishes, and thoughtful spatial flow. From the outset, the brief called for a complete reimagining of the property, with StudioTwenty tasked with enhancing natural light, creating seamless indoor outdoor movement, and integrating smart technology and energy efficiency without compromising comfort or elegance.

The kitchen sits at the centre of this architectural transformation, acting as both a functional hub and a social anchor. StudioTwenty ensured that the space reflects the project’s core values of cohesion, calm and intelligent design. Every material and layout decision contributes to a feeling of refined ease, with bespoke joinery and concealed storage allowing the kitchen to operate efficiently while maintaining a quiet visual language. Premium finishes elevate the everyday, but never overwhelm the home’s understated sophistication.
The wider renovation includes a wellness pavilion featuring a gym, jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen, and the connection between this retreat and the main kitchen space further demonstrates StudioTwenty’s ability to blend beauty with purpose. Indoor and outdoor dining merge effortlessly, encouraging a lifestyle built around family gatherings, shared meals and slow mornings that flow naturally into evenings of entertaining beneath open skies.
Smart lighting adds another layer of experience, adapting to daily rhythms in a way that feels natural and intuitive. The kitchen reflects this same instinctive harmony, balancing family practicality with an elevated sense of hospitality. For StudioTwenty, the project represents the studio’s philosophy at its most distilled: craftsmanship applied with intention, luxury that feels lived rather than staged, and a home that, rather than being simply updated, has been wholly reimagined into something timeless, warm and deeply personal.
