Taylor Howes Designs approached the project with a clear focus on spatial planning, ensuring the home could function equally well as a private retreat and an engaging setting for entertaining. The lower ground floor now forms the social centre of the house, where a bespoke bar and entertaining kitchen are defined by dramatic Cristallo stone and Arabescato Rosso Orobico marble. Large doors open directly onto the garden, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior spaces.
Throughout the home, Taylor Howes Designs introduced a layered and immersive aesthetic shaped by the clients’ love of colour, pattern and playful detail. Each room has its own identity, from a library inspired reception room to a soft green kitchen, yet all are unified through a cohesive palette and carefully curated materials. Influences drawn from boutique hospitality environments are evident, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and distinctive design moments.
