The Digital Picture has completed an extraordinary private home cinema that combines world class audiovisual performance with refined interior design to create an exceptional viewing experience. Rebuilt from an existing cinema that had failed to meet the client’s expectations despite being only three years old, the project evolved into an uncompromising pursuit of cinematic perfection, with the client encouraging The Digital Picture to take as much time as necessary to achieve the ideal result.

Despite concealing one of the most sophisticated sound systems ever integrated into a residential space, the interior remains warm, calm and inviting. Relaxing architectural lighting complements the luxurious finishes, while carefully controlled bias lighting allows films to be enjoyed without compromising visual comfort. Behind the elegant surfaces, however, lies an immense acoustic infrastructure that includes large surround speakers and eight substantial infrasonic subwoofers, all supported by bespoke aluminium mounting systems developed after weeks of testing to guarantee absolute stability and acoustic performance.

The Digital Picture overcame significant engineering challenges to integrate this remarkable technology without disrupting the room’s elegant aesthetic.
