The clients, passionate home cooks and parents to a young daughter, envisioned a kitchen that was not only a functional space for everyday use but also a warm, inviting hub for family life. Faced with a narrow layout and a lack of storage in their previous kitchen, Thomas James Bespoke focused on making the most of every inch. One of the most striking features is a set of rolling library ladders that glide across the cabinetry, offering stylish and practical access to upper cupboards with reeded glass fronts, combining visual appeal with increased storage.
A unique, family friendly touch includes a handcrafted “mouse hole” carved into the base of the larder cupboard, designed to engage the couple’s daughter as she grows. The larder also doubles as a drinks station, with pull out trays perfect for entertaining.
