Luxury is celebrated on all six floors of this 19th century London residence. A sober elegance is contained in the exuberant sophistication of a design scheme that manages to blend the charm of the past with contemporary appeal
Maii Interiors have been shortlisted for Kitchen Design Over £150,000 Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards
Where does your design inspiration come from?
Predominantly my surroundings. Being so close to the sea has often inspired nautical themes in terms of the interior architecture for some of my recent projects. I previously transformed two old fishing houses in Salema into beachfront homes. The interiors were bright and airy, in keeping with the seaside setting. I also previously mentioned using Portuguese tiles, which I often use on a feature wall in the bathrooms of some of my properties.
How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?
