Davidson London have been shortlisted for Table Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2023.

An enchanting dining table featuring Davidson London’s unforgettable incised bronze finish on the decanter-shaped base, with a striking radial veneer pattern on the top and delicate brushed brass detailing.

The objective with this design was to create an extraordinary dining table suitable for a dining room in the world’s most exquisite homes. This dining table needed to sit within different interiors, from a penthouse in Central Park Tower, New York, to a Grade I listed property in Mayfair, London. When designing this table, Davidson London needed to create a silhouette that was not too contemporary and combine it with superlative luxury materials and finishes that didn’t look overly traditional. The design responds to this brief with a sophisticated decanted shaped base and innovative use of bonze, with our new incised bronze finish.

The combination of innovative use of traditional materials and a silhouette that appeals to both contemporary and traditional interiors is what makes this table design suitable for any high-end interior. The large 2000-diameter top features a striking radial pattern made up of 16 veneer segments which have been skilfully placed to form the pattern. The veneer has been quarter sawn to create an amazing decorative grain pattern. The dramatic flecks and rays from the bronze base give the table a unique and striking look. The chamfered frieze features a brushed brass detail which adds an elegant touch to an already opulent table.

The decanter-shaped base has been finished in our special incised bronze finish. This contemporary bronze finish has been highly distressed and finished in fine bronze powder and gives off a luxurious, maximalist impression.
