Micasa Interiors have been shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – London Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2023.

Micasa Interiors has transformed a 3-bedroom, triple aspect, lateral penthouse with multiple terraces into a luxurious and elegant residence fit for a family of five. The goal was to create a high-end living space with modern amenities and smart systems while maintaining a warm, inviting, and contemporary atmosphere.

The project involved modernizing all living spaces by incorporating smart systems such as automated window dressings, intelligent lighting controls, and advanced multi-media setups. The design team aimed to create a timeless luxury with classic-contemporary elements, ensuring the penthouse was not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional for the family’s needs.

One of the standout features of the project is the exceptional joinery designs in the living room. The carefully crafted joinery brings together various textures and materials, including marble, plain wood, textured wood, wallpaper, and lacquer. This unique combination enhances the decorative pieces showcased within the cabinetry, giving them a dynamic and captivating appearance.

By day, the living room is filled with expansive sunlight that exudes a timeless grandeur, highlighting the exquisite joinery and the cherished pieces it houses. As evening sets in, the embedded LED lighting within the joinery creates a warm and ambient glow, providing an elegant and inviting atmosphere.

Despite the challenging time-frame of just 4 months, Micasa Interiors successfully achieved their vision for the penthouse. The completed project now stands as a testament to British and European design excellence, blending city-life sophistication with comfortable spaces for private moments, family gatherings, and quiet relaxation.

The living room’s joinery design, with its carefully curated textures and materials, exemplifies the team’s commitment to creating a space that evokes awe and wonder in anyone who enters. Micasa Interiors’ meticulous attention to detail and dedication to combining aesthetics with functionality have resulted in a truly exceptional home away from home, perfect for the family’s needs and enjoyment.
