MWM Studio were the winners of the Interior Design Scheme – Middle East & Africas Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2023.

Palm Villa, a luxurious 4-storey luxurious contemporary new-build situated on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, stands as a testament to exquisite interior design and impeccable craftsmanship. MWM Studio seamlessly blended elegant touches and bespoke design features, harmonising with the prestigious location and offering awe-inspiring views.

The clever utilisation of large glazing panels throughout the property allows an abundance of natural light to flood in, creating a bright and welcoming space that effortlessly connects with the surrounding nature—an essential aspect of the client’s vision. MWM Studio’s design concept revolved around creating a luxurious interior that exudes warmth and hospitality. Through the skilful incorporation of luxurious layered finishes, high-end designer pieces, and bespoke detailing, the studio has turned the client’s dream into a stunning reality.

With a sprawling size of 14,000 square feet, Palm Villa offers ample space for relaxation and entertainment, all accompanied by uninterrupted sea views. The villa spans across four levels, starting with a basement that boasts an entertainment room, a gymnasium, a salon, a cinema, and a spacious car garage. The ground floor has a double-height arrival entrance, featuring an enchanting bonsai tree at the centre of the atrium courtyard. Surrounding this are formal majlis, a formal dining area, a generous guest suite, and a family wing comprising a prayer room, a large kitchen, and a family living/dining room that opens up to a stunning terrace. The first-floor houses six luxurious bedrooms, each accompanied by lavish en-suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. Finally, the magnificent rooftop boasts an entertainment lounge, a dining area, and an expansive entertainment deck that offers breath-taking views of the mesmerizing Dubai skyline.

MWM Studio’s design approach for this project centered around the client’s desire for each area of the villa to have its own unique identity, featuring multiple finishes and design elements. To achieve this, the studio created a neutral backdrop of key finishes, skilfully incorporating accent stones, textures, vibrant upholsteries, and quirky accent pieces to infuse each space with character. This meticulous attention to detail and ability to harmonize diverse elements has resulted in a design that seamlessly connects the finishes throughout the villa, creating a cohesive and visually stunning environment.

Throughout the project, MWM Studio’s team of designers showcased their mastery of bespoke carpentry, incorporating it throughout the villa to create custom joinery that exudes quality and craftsmanship. Additionally, the studio commissioned a few unique furniture pieces, such as the rooftop dining table, which further highlights the artisan skills and attention to detail that define their work.
