Cle de Maison have been Shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – Europe Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2021.

The main task for Cle de Maison was to merge two apartments and design a luxury, spacious penthouse apartment in Vilnius old town with a spectacular rooftop terrace with jacuzzi. The Cle de Maison team applied their high-level technical capabilities in ensuring that the space was meticulously planned and detailed to have two separated zones in the apartment – on the left hand: kitchen, living area and dining area separated with free-standing bio-fireplace, and on the left hand – a bedrooms area with a master suite and a kid’s suite.

Cle de Maison delivered an interior which was inspiring; it was layered with intriguing textures & materials, bold colours, sophisticated finishes, and details which offered the client something personal and curated. To achieve this, the use of natural materials is featured throughout the design with solid oak parquet with brass inlays, decorative plaster mouldings, glossy Ebony Makassar, mirrors, brushed and polished brass detailing in specific areas and the use of beautiful, elegant lighting.

Mirrors on the walls and ceilings have been used to accentuate the heights and grand scale in various parts. Within all spaces bespoke furniture pieces were designed, finished in luxurious velvets, relaxed linens, solid wood veneer, complimented with high gloss tables which all were then finished with an extensive use of rugs, mirrors and accessories. The use of beautiful, exquisite pairs of chandeliers in various rooms is prominent, along with accent wall lamps. It is the details which offer refinement, personality, balance, character and luxury.

Playing on different tones, hues, and intensities of the same green, blue, black, gold accent colours, these are then offset against the beige tones. The use of colours and textures to interpret the style of the home was one of the designer’s favourite elements, due to the excitement of seeing the same colours used and looking so different in every room, it is almost unidentifiable. Cle de Maison delivered a scheme which demonstrated that opulence can be successfully harnessed from precise detailing and tactility.
