Tell us a little about your background in design:
The company was founded by Pippa in February 2006 and focusses on Grade II listed homes and character properties in the Cotswolds providing full service interior design, architecture and project management.

How would you describe your personal design style?
Considered and eclectic.

Where does your design inspiration come from?
The built environment of the Cotswolds, nature’s colours and textures and various design heroes.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
Increasing democratisation juxtaposed with greater focus on the narrative and artisanship.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2022 and beyond.
Increasing emergence of craft
Individual one-off pieces
Multi-use spaces
Free-standing pieces rather than built-in cabinetry
Sustainability

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
Have a clear plan for the scheme before starting to buy individual pieces and hoping they will work together.

How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?
Allowing for the celebration and recognition of great design is a positive force in improving the quality of design

What projects are you currently working on?
Several Grade II listed properties in the Cotswolds including a country estate, a manor house and a farmhouse, and also a new build family home.

What was your favourite project to work on and why?
The renovation of a Grade II listed Cotswold manor house untouched for nearly 70 years.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?
A Grade II listed house which required us to completely reimagine how the spaces worked and the communication routes between them through extreme structural design and radical spatial design to holistically bring the whole house together.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing?
Antique specialists throughout the UK, particularly Tetbury.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
To continue to expose and enhance the beautiful buildings of the Cotswolds and grow our reputation for doing so.
