Tell us a little about your background in design:
After studying Interior Architecture and Decoration in Paris, I joined the design team of the highly regarded interior designer, Alberto Pinto. Eager to explore other cultures and discover new horizons, I moved to London and joined the acclaimed design team at David Hicks Group, Richmond Design & GA Design, where I furthered my education and expertise on, led design teams in multi-million hotel design projects from which I refined both my creative and managerial skills.
In 1997, I co-founded Carter Tyberghein for which I have been the principal designer undertaking tailored luxury commissions. I lead a team of designers, working in partnership with our clients to achieve their vision, both in UK and overseas.
I have been a member of the British Institute of Interior Designers for a decade. Over the years, I have appeared in several publications such as House & Garden, Home & gardens, Elle Decoration and Beta-Plus. In addition, I have been featured in numerous Andrew Martin Interior Design Reviews and I have been winner of the UK Property Awards 2014-2015 in the Residential Interior Design category.
