Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
I studied architecture and Interior design at Ort Collage in Tel-Aviv. Following graduation I worked at two leading designer firms, one is Tel- Aviv and the one is Jerusalem before opening up my own studio in 2017.

How would you describe your personal design style?
Contemporary- a mixture between traditional, classical yet still clean, light with a more modern elements to keep in relevant

Where does your design inspiration come from?
My surroundings, and the surroundings of each project. I gather inspiration from everywhere I go and then translate it into the language of each project individually- where the project is, who the clients are and what they like etc.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
I feel like interior design is becoming more sophisticated. I feel like we are moving a little past the ultra clean and modern look and going “back” towards a design where we do like to bring in more depth and interest using traditional elements- more mouldings and marble and wood together with modern and minimalist look from the past few years

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2022 and beyond.
Natural materials – wood, marble, metal, Moldings, Pops of color, Lighting which make a statement- like jewellery, Amazing outdoor space

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
Practical space design and Beautiful design in harmony

How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?
This is one of the most amazing places and platforms to share with the world our designer and passion and hope that as many people in the works can enjoy it

What projects are you currently working on?
Correctly I am working on quite a bunch on Luxury vacation homes in the heart of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a very unique and special city where it has an amazing balance of holly, culture, pleasure and fun all in one so we find that a lot of people buy vacation home here and love to come a few times a year.

What was your favourite project to work on and why?
OLD CITY – Jerusalem. The project started out as very run-down old apartment in the heart of the old city of Jerusalem. As the project went on we kept discovering more and more elements from a 500 year old Ottoman empire structure and we felt like we were in a movie. The end result shows how unbelievable it really was.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?
OLD CITY – Jerusalem, The project took over 3 years due to our findings and restoration but in addition to that, the house in in the middle of the old city which is made up of small narrow old streets and alleyways which makes it extremely difficult to work and to bring equipment and materials in and out.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing?Obviouly AutoCAD with I use for all my drafting. Other then that my most amazing team of designers and vendors who are there with me every step of the way.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months? Honestly to just continue on the path I’m on. I love what I do and I love working on unique luxury properties, so my home and goal for now is just to continue with what I am doing and just do a better and better job each time.

Your favourite holiday destination? Thailand
Your favourite hotel, restaurant & bar? Hotel Bereshit in the south desert of Israel- it’s a desert resort which just feels like pure vacation, Restaurant- Mamila Hotel – Roof Top in Jerusalem. They have amazing food and the view of the old city walls lit up at night is unreal.
Your favourite book, film & song? The davinci code – book, Ocean’s Eleven – film

Your favourite food and drink? Burger, sweet potato fries and a soda
Your favourite way to spend an afternoon? If not working then at the pool
If you weren’t a designer, what would you be? Hi-tec programmer
Anything else interesting? I played American football on the Israeli national team for 12 years- travelled all over the world with the team and had some of the best times of my life playing
