Tell us a little about your background in design:
I studied at AIU in London and have a BA Hons degree in Interior Design. I then moved to Miami where I was lucky to meet a client who was flipping apartments in South Beach and that’s where I got my first hands on experience, before opening my own company.

How would you describe your personal design style?
A mix of styles that’s mindful of the space it is in. It is constantly morphing, not too serious yet quite minimal. Ideally I tend to go towards modern and contemporary pieces in a classic setting.

Where does your design inspiration come from?
Instagram, Pinterest and traveling. I love the work of a variety of designers, all with different styles: Jake Arnold, Birgitte Romanek, Jessie Schuster, and lots of Aussie interior designers likes Decus interiors and Tamsin Johnson to name a few.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
For now its gravitating to cool and calm spaces; that laid back LA vibe with plastered walls and neutral tones. I also think leopard print is having a comeback!

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
Be mindful of your surroundings and history of the building

How important are the The International Design & Architecture Awards?
I think it’s crucial, not only to gain recognition, but to build networking opportunities within our industry.

What projects are you currently working on
A restaurant in Mayfair, A nightclub & lounge in St James, 3 houses in Kensington and Chelsea, and a chalet in Verbier.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?
I had to design a 50 m yacht yacht during the height of covid which proved to be challenging as I had only got to see the boat once.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing?
Autocad and a sketchbook

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
Opening a showroom in Notting Hill

Your most treasured possession?
A Jack Nicholson photograph. He looks so cheeky in it, I love it.

Your favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere I haven’t explored yet, preferably tropical

Your favourite hotel, restaurant and bar?
Marbella club, Cacciatore in Milan & Chiltern firehouse

Your favourite book, film and song?
Dreamed of Africa
Hunt for the Wilderpeople
Right now, my song is Can’t You Hear Me Knocking by the Rolling Stones.

Your favourite food and drink?
A plate of pasta and a nice glass of Primitivo

Your favourite way to spend your afternoon?
On the beach, in the water.

If you weren’t a designer, what would you be?
I would work with animals.
