Tell us a little about your background in design:
I studied at AIU in London and have a BA Hons degree in Interior Design. I then moved to Miami where I was lucky to meet a client who was flipping apartments in South Beach and that’s where I got my first hands on experience, before opening my own company.
How would you describe your personal design style?
A mix of styles that’s mindful of the space it is in. It is constantly morphing, not too serious yet quite minimal. Ideally I tend to go towards modern and contemporary pieces in a classic setting.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
Instagram, Pinterest and traveling. I love the work of a variety of designers, all with different styles: Jake Arnold, Birgitte Romanek, Jessie Schuster, and lots of Aussie interior designers likes Decus interiors and Tamsin Johnson to name a few.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
For now its gravitating to cool and calm spaces; that laid back LA vibe with plastered walls and neutral tones. I also think leopard print is having a comeback!
If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
Be mindful of your surroundings and history of the building
