YNOTT Interiors have been shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – UK Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2021.

Chestnut House is an opulent, modern two-bedroom luxury apartment finished to a high specification in the heart of Surrey. YNOTT Interiors were introduced by Hamptons to the client, the brief was to design, furnish and style the apartment in a way that would attract their target demographic. The apartment had previously been dressed by another Berkshire interior designer but there was little interest shown, so YNOTT Interiors were brought in instead.

YNOTT Interiors were able to design, source, install and style this apartment within 3 weeks from being introduced to it, allowing Hamptons to relaunch the development sooner than they had requested. Being able to dress apartments that clearly had a large amount of thought and care with regard to the build and finish, allowed for a truly beautiful space to furnish and decorate, adding further opulence to the apartments.

The perspective buyers were affluent middle age working professionals, potentially London commuters who wanted to escape the city. YNOTT Interiors incorporated a modern luxurious theme, with cosy comforting textiles and lighting. The design involved an open plan living, kitchen and dining area that would not only serve as a relaxing comfortable environment at the end of a working day, but also provide an impressionable area in which the homeowners could entertain friends, reflecting the lifestyle that they aspire to live.

Although set in a street with multiple historic large houses, this modern development remains true to its surrounding with historical features and traditional brick. Traditional aspects are carried through the interiors and communal areas of the development also. Within seven days of YNOTT Interiors’ completion and the relaunch of the development, 4 of the 6 apartments has received the full asking price offers – resulting in sales of £2.5 million within a week.
