DTK Studio have been shortlisted for Restaurant Within a Hotel – Global Award in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2023.

DTK Studio has redesigned Five Out, the dining and lounge restaurant located at Four Seasons Amman, with a vision to redefine the culinary experience through innovative design. 

The concept behind the newly enhanced Five Out restaurant revolves around delivering an experiential dining affair, artfully engaging the senses of sight, touch, and hearing, while the splendid menu provides for the senses of smell and taste. The space achieves this by combining an open yet sculpted layout with a fresh colour scheme that balances nature’s greenery and dimmed moody lights, creating an appealing visual experience. The restaurant’s strategic location offers breath-taking views of Fifth Circle and the opulent cityscape.

The design elements of Five Out are ingeniously curated in a multi-dimensional model, expanding horizontally and vertically in harmony with the human scale. Canopies inspired by Bedouin tents, fashioned at different heights, break the linearity of the space, avoiding a corridor effect and creating a visually appealing and intimate atmosphere. Biophilic elements like lush plants and trees, along with locally sourced natural marble, add character and charisma to the space, blending seamlessly with the environment.

Despite the challenges posed by the strict timeline during the restaurant’s seasonal break, DTK Studio executed the project with remarkable finesse, using sustainable materials and practices to deliver a wholesome space. Most of the products and materials used were procured locally, from Granite table tops and marbles to artworks and even the locally grown shrubs, exemplifying meticulous planning and execution.

Immersed in a tastefully curated spectrum of neutral hues, the ambience at Five Out exudes exquisite charm, with plush seating nestled beneath the canopy roofs. The restaurant also embraces the vastness of its surroundings, offering unobstructed views of the vibrant cityscape beyond the Fifth Circle, creating a truly captivating atmosphere.
